Terms of Service

Welcome to The Arlington Fixer LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services, including interactions with our automated or live Receptionist Service, our booking systems, our Jobber Client Hub, and any services performed on your property.

By requesting a quote, booking an appointment via our receptionist, or approving work through Jobber, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not book our services.

1. Services & Scheduling

  • Booking via Receptionist: Our receptionist assists in gathering intake details and scheduling placeholder appointments. A booking is only considered finalized once it is confirmed by our management team and visible in your Jobber Client Hub.

  • Arrival Windows: Field service arrival times provided by our receptionist are estimates. We utilize standard industry arrival windows (e.g., a 2-hour window) to accommodate traffic, weather, and unexpected job delays.

2. Quotes, Pricing, and Jobber Approvals

  • Estimates vs. Final Costs: Any pricing discussed over the phone with a receptionist is a preliminary estimate based on the information you provide. Final pricing is subject to on-site inspection.

  • Digital Sign-Off: Official quotes will be sent digitally via Jobber. Work will not commence until the quote is approved by you digitally, in writing, or via verbal confirmation logged by our receptionist.

3. Payments, Deposits, and Billing

  • Payment Terms: Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Secure Processing: Credit card details collected securely by our receptionist or entered by you in the Jobber Hub are processed safely through our integrated merchant provider (Jobber Payments/Stripe).

  • Deposits: For specific large-scale jobs, a non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your slot on our schedule.

  • Late Payments: Overdue invoices tracked via Jobber may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Notice Required: We require at least24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellation Fee: Failure to provide sufficient notice, or refusing entry to our technicians upon arrival, may result in a cancellation/no-show fee of $50. You can cancel by speaking directly with our receptionist or replying to your Jobber confirmation texts.

5. Customer Responsibilities & Property Access

  • Access: You must provide our technicians with safe, unobstructed access to the service area at the scheduled time, including unlocking gates or securing pets.

  • Working Conditions: A dangerous or hostile work environment (including loose aggressive animals or biohazards) gives our technicians the right to leave the property immediately, and a standard call-out fee will apply.

  • Adult Presence: An adult of at least 18 years of age with authority to approve work and sign off on completion must be present (or reachable by phone/Jobber message) during the service window.

6. Communication Consent (SMS and Calls)

By providing your phone number to our receptionist or via our online booking forms, you expressly consent to receive:

  • Phone calls and text messages (SMS) from us or our receptionist service regarding scheduling, quotes, job updates, and invoicing.

  • Automated reminders and links generated via Jobber.

Opt-Out: You can opt-out of text communications at any time by replying "STOP". Note that opting out may disrupt your ability to receive real-time scheduling updates and digital invoices.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Arlington Fixer LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our service or any delays in scheduling. Our maximum liability for property damage or service issues shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
